Terms of Service

By accessing or using the Stylish Ambience platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use the platform.

These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you (or the organisation you represent) and Stylish Ambience Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales.

By signing up, you confirm that you have the authority to enter into this agreement on behalf of your organisation.

Stylish Ambience provides a subscription-based background music platform for hospitality venues. The service includes:

• Access to the Stylish Ambience web player and management dashboard
• Continuously programmed, DJ-curated music adapted by time of day and day of week
• Venue control features including Boost, Chill, and Specials (where enabled)
• Access to music licensed for commercial use in hospitality environments

We reserve the right to modify, update, or discontinue features of the service at any time. Where changes materially affect your use of the platform, we will provide reasonable notice.

We offer a 7-day free trial to new customers. The trial gives full access to the platform at no cost.

• No credit card is required to start a trial.
• At the end of the trial, you may choose to subscribe to a paid plan.
• If you do not subscribe, access to the platform will cease at the end of the trial period.
• Each organisation is entitled to one free trial.

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance, depending on the plan selected. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge the payment method on file at the start of each billing period.

• All prices are shown exclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise.
• VAT will be added at the applicable UK rate at checkout.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• We will notify you in advance of any price changes.
• Payment is processed by a third-party payment provider. We do not store your full card details.

If a payment fails, we will attempt to contact you. Access to the platform may be suspended until the outstanding amount is settled.

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings or by contacting us at hello@stylishambience.co.uk.

• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• You will retain access to the platform until the period ends.
• We do not offer partial refunds for unused time within a billing period, except where required by law.
• If you cancel during a free trial, no charge will be made.

For annual subscriptions cancelled within 14 days of the initial purchase, you may be entitled to a refund under UK consumer law. Contact us to request this.

You agree to use the platform only for its intended purpose and in compliance with all applicable laws. You must not:

• Share login credentials between multiple venues or organisations without a separate licence
• Attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or redistribute any part of the platform or its content
• Use the platform in a way that disrupts or damages the service for other users
• Use the platform to play music in any unlicensed public setting
• Circumvent any technical measures or security controls

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access where these terms are breached.

All music provided through the Stylish Ambience platform is licensed for commercial use in hospitality venues via PRS & PPL through an approved licensing partner.

Your subscription covers the right to play this music through the platform in your venue. It does not transfer ownership of any music or grant rights beyond those described here.

You are responsible for ensuring your venue holds its own valid PRS & PPL licence to play music publicly. Stylish Ambience does not assume liability for venues operating without the required public performance licences.

All content, software, design, and materials on the Stylish Ambience platform — including but not limited to the music library, user interface, and branding — are owned by or licensed to Stylish Ambience Ltd.

Nothing in these terms grants you ownership of any intellectual property. You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works from any part of the platform without our prior written consent.

To the fullest extent permitted by UK law, Stylish Ambience Ltd shall not be liable for:

• Loss of revenue, profit, or business resulting from service interruption
• Loss of data or damage caused by third-party systems or network failures
• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the platform shall not exceed the total amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any matter that cannot be excluded under UK law.

We aim to provide a reliable, high-availability service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Planned maintenance will be communicated in advance where possible.

The platform includes offline caching to reduce the impact of internet outages at your venue. However, we are not responsible for playback failures caused by hardware, network, or third-party service issues outside our control.

Either party may terminate the agreement at any time in accordance with the cancellation terms above.

We may suspend or terminate your access immediately, without notice, if:

• You breach these terms and fail to remedy the breach within 7 days of notification
• You fail to pay any amounts due and the failure continues for more than 14 days
• We are required to do so by law or regulatory authority

On termination, your access to the platform and its content will cease. Any data we hold will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will notify you by email or via the platform with at least 14 days' notice.

Continued use of the platform after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not accept the changes, you may cancel your subscription before they take effect.

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer based in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also have the right to bring proceedings in your local courts.
